Biker trailer performed
beautifully...... hardly knew it was behind me during the 2,386 miles we
covered over 8 days. My wife and I found it perfect for our gear during
our journey.
Many thanks for the rental of a great product. We look forward to the purchase of one of these trailers in the near future, matching the color to my 2006 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Kindest Regards Mike & Patty Jacobsen (Summer 2008) |

What a wonderful product Companion Trailers has. We have a 6 passenger SUV that is great for trips, except for one thing. If we fill all 6 seats, there is little room left for luggage. For a long trip, this becomes a real problem.
We rented the 6’ companion trailer for our combined ski trip/wedding trip, to Colorado. We put all our luggage for 6 people in the trailer. In my car (Chrysler Pacifica) the trailer did not interfere with sight lines at all. It is so well designed that it almost disappears behind the car. It did not interfere with any of our rear view access. Its low / narrow profile means that I got great gas mileage on the trip, and its convenience, meant the car had little of the “trip junk” that gets stacked on the floor and under the seats. All that stuff got stowed in the fantastic storage area giving us a much more pleasant in-car experience. We drove at highway speeds with never a thought, through the mountains in winter, with no cares. At our destination, we knew the trailer was safe, because of the various locks and devices that disabled someone from connecting and hauling off the trailer, all included in the rental price. When we take our next trip, we will use Companion Trailers again! Sunny Lowe |

My dad, Jim Remington, asked me to send this to you.
"My family and I were going on vacation to Washington D.C. this past summer and my dad told me that I would be helping drive the trailer here. I haven't driven with a trailer before, so I was hesitant at first. When I first started driving with it, it didn't feel like I was pulling anything at all. After a while on the road, I had forgot I was pulling a trailer. I couldn't believe how quiet it was, and how easily it was to maneuver. We didn't have any problems with it the whole trip. I thought it would be heavy and hard to drive with, but it wasn't at all. It was a great experience for me being a first time trailer driver. It's really light weight and is fun to drive!" Thank you for the great experience, Ashley Perkins – 17 years old |

My wife and I wanted to express our total satisfaction in renting one of your trailers to take to Arizona this past Christmas. We rented the 6' model. We live in North Texas and the trip was very fun and interesting. We encountered no problems until we entered northeastern New Mexico on late Friday night December 21, 2007. It started snowing and ended up almost being a blizzard. We slept in our vehicle in the parking lot of a truck stop in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. We didn't get out of the snow until early Saturday morning when we reached Albuquerque, New Mexico. The trailer pulled very well, as a matter of fact, we hardly knew it was there. We pulled it with a Ford Explorer.
Attached are some pictures we took of our trip and the trailer/vehicle combination. The mountains are the San Francisco Peaks outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. As you can see, there is snow on the peaks. It was cold in Flagstaff, as always. The other pictures are of the vehicle/trailer sitting at my in-laws house in Kingman, Arizona. There are not very many pictures, because we never seem to have the camera out at the right moment. Hope this helps to attract future customers to your product. Thank you for the opportunity to rent your trailer. Hope to use it again in the near future. Respectfully, Roger & Michelle Honeycutt - Christmas 2007 |

I just used the Companion 8 Trailer on a second family trip this Summer and it was really perfect for housing and protecting Golf Clubs, Fishing Poles, Clothes, the Grandchildren's toys, Ice chests and much more.
The really neat thing is that the luggage, etc. is not taking up space in the car or SUV so that more people are able to travel together and not have to take additional vehicles. This was the case with our last trip. We had 6 adults and 2 small children. We were able to comfortably fit the family into the SUV and load the luggage in the Companion 8 and Roll Out. That is a real luxury with the children’s car seats that must be strapped in. I am really enjoying using the Companion 8 and would recommend it to anyone for a multitude of reasons and purposes. Pulls Like A Dream! Sincerely yours, Sam Kerbel |

My name is B.J. & I am 62 years old.
I have ridden motorcycles for 45 years and have pulled trailers for 10 years. Several trailers from homemade ($750.00) to custom made/painted ($5,000.00). None of them can compare to the Companion biker. The design, style, & craftsmanship is superior to any on the market. There is no drag on my bike and does not affect safety, ride or comfort. This product "SHOULD" be your only choice when buying a luggage trailer for your motorcycle. |

We had the privilege to borrow a brand new 6 foot Companion Trailer for our recent vacation to BC, Canada. The trailer was one of the main reasons our vacation went so smooth, never did I feel the trailer
was in the way or was bothering me behind my SUV.
It is easy to load and the vehicle was "spacious" inside considering we are a family of five with three cellos that went all the way along. The trailer is well built, streamlined and an absolute pleasure to pull. Dr Maarten Coetzee – Brooks, Alberta, Canada |

My experience with Companion Trailers has been nothing short of exceptional. The design of the trailers is great, making them easy to use by anyone. Every detail has been paid attention to so that attaching them to your car and disconnecting them is very easy to do. My favorite part is that they are light weight and are easy to move and roll into tight areas where your car cannot fit or where a car is prohibited. My small car, a golf GTI, is able to pull these wonderful trailers without effort.
Traveling with a Companion Trailer is a joy!! Wonderful customer service is an added bonus!! I give these trailers an A+ and anyone with traveling plans should try one! June Michel - craft show vendor & loyal customer |

Thank you, again, for the generous donation of
your Companion 6 trailer for Fossil Rim's use. We have already taken it
out on its inaugural journey and it performed marvelously! We attended
the Parks and Wildlife Expo in Austin and used it to haul all our booth
set-up, brochures, etc. There was plenty of room, hook-up and
disconnecting were simple, and towing was a breeze; we wouldn't have
known it was there except for the fact that we weren't crowded in our
vehicle. I know we will get much use out of this valuable addition.

The trailer performed beautifully for our trip. We had not planned to travel for Christmas but got a call from my brother-in-law from the D.C. area that he was going to be in Texas at my mother-in-law's house for Christmas and would like the whole family to be together on Christmas day. This was significant because about three weeks prior to this, he had a 3" malignant tumor removed from his brain. We did not want to miss the opportunity for our family to be there but we also did not want to leave all of the gifts at home for after Christmas. I have three young boys: 8, 6 and 2 years old. It takes so much stuff for us to travel anywhere for overnight but when we travel to my mother-in-laws, we have to take everything; including the bedding. I have a full size Suburban and the trip to my mother-in-law's at Thanksgiving filled it full and that was with the third seat removed! I did not know how we were going to get all the same stuff there again plus all of the gifts that we had for the entire family and supplies for my mother-in-law. Then I remembered the Companion trailer that I had seen on the Fossil Rim website. I remembered that it was a luggage trailer designed to be pulled by small cars. I found your company on the web after a quick search and was very pleased to find that you rented trailers. I called you looking for a Companion 6 but those were all out due to the holiday. All you had left was a Companion 4. Keep in mind that I did all of this on the Friday morning before Christmas, which was on Tuesday. I decided to rent it but logistically, it was going to be difficult for me to get it picked-up at a convenient time. You gave me several options but the best one was you delivering it to me at my place of work in south Fort Worth. When you arrived, I was immediately very impressed by the compact size, ease of access and the amount of space inside. The Companion 4 had more than enough space for our needs on this trip.
Pulling it with a Suburban was absolutely no problem. It did not even affect the gas mileage and I never knew it was back there under acceleration or braking. I do not believe that this would be true for a compact car but I would be more than comfortable pulling this trailer with one. The trailer tracked perfectly and the wheel track is narrower than the vehicle so you never have to worry about clipping a curb with the trailer. The torsion axle makes for a very smooth ride especially considering the size and weight of this trailer. Every small trailer with leaf springs that I have pulled on rough road will bounce enough that the wheels lose contact with the road surface. One of the things that I really liked is that I could easily maneuver the trailer myself by hand on any terrain and it could be easily maneuvered by two people (me and my wife) when it was full on pavement or grass. I could also easily lift the tongue and set it on the ball when it was full (40 - 50 lbs. tongue weight). You have a fantastic product and I will definitely be back when it comes time for the next family trip that requires me to take more than I can haul in the vehicle. I will also pass on your brochure to anyone that I think might have a use for one of your trailers. Good luck with the product and I will help spread the word!
